Alchemise Pet Care is licensed to care for a maximum of 4 dogs at any one time, or 5 dogs if at least 2 are from the same household.

Yes. A free meet-and-greet is required for all new dogs before using daycare or boarding services.

Yes. For boarding stays of two nights or more, a trial night is required prior to booking.

Day Care
- Drop-off: 8.30 – 9.30am
- Collection: 4.45 – 5.30pm
- Half-day (AM) collection: 12.30 – 1.00pm
- Half-day (PM) drop-off: 1.00 – 1.30pm
Home Boarding
- Drop-off: 8.30 – 9.30am
- Collection: 4.45 – 6.00pm
Dogs are not left unattended for extended periods.
They are fully integrated into daily household routines with supervision, enrichment, rest, and outdoor time throughout the day.
Yes.
- Day care dogs receive one walk per day
- Boarding dogs receive two walks per day
All walks are tailored to the individual dog’s age, energy levels, and needs.
Alchemise Pet Care is a home-from-home environment, not a kennel or commercial unit. Dogs are part of daily home life and have access to enrichment activities, rest areas, and a secure garden.
Yes. Enrichment is a key part of care at Alchemise and includes puzzles, sensory activities, problem-solving games, calm interaction, and rest time - tailored to each dog.
Yes. Reasonable text contact is included, along with photos and daily updates while your dog is in our care.
Updates typically include how your dog is settling, general wellbeing, and photos where appropriate. Updates are provided thoughtfully around the dogs’ needs rather than on a fixed schedule, as supervision and care always come first.
Entire (un-neutered) males are accepted by arrangement only and are charged at a higher rate due to additional management and welfare considerations.
All dogs must be fully vaccinated, including Kennel Cough, and be up to date with flea and worm treatment.
All medical conditions, behavioural needs, medication, and routines must be disclosed before booking. This ensures care can be provided safely and appropriately.
No. Alchemise Pet Care does not accept dogs with known aggressive behaviour.
The safety and well-being of all dogs and people is always the priority.
Accepted payment methods include:
- Bank transfer (BACS)
- Cash
- Card payment via secure payment link
- Standing order (for regular pre-booked day care)
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking, with the remaining balance due 21 days before the stay.
